Law Office of Cheryl D. Lipsius

Cheryl has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry. A graduate of Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, Cheryl is a member of the New York and Florida bars and is admitted to the Eastern District and Southern District of New York and Southern District of Florida.

She handles insurance coverage cases including, but not limited to, life insurance death claims and lapse issues, disability insurance, long term care and property insurance. She has been instrumental in the restoration of life insurance policies with over $500,000,000 face value. She has represented brokers and agents before the New York State Department of Financial Services.

Before starting her own practice, Cheryl was an attorney at Lipsius BenHaim Law and its predecessor firm, Schindel, Farman, Lipsius, Gardner and Rabinovich for over 20 years. Ms. Lipsius practiced in International Tax Law, working for two major accounting firms and in the tax departments of two major corporations. Cheryl's prior experience also includes a stint at Orenstein and Brown where she worked on major residual insurance litigation.
